dc.description.abstract | Run Like the Wind is a feature-length screenplay that spotlights a rebellious teenager who discovers her own identity coming of age in Montral 1969. It is a time when restrictive societal expectations of femininity are rampant but also have the potential to modernize. As the Womens Liberation Movement and emerging Folk scene intersect, it reinvents womens freedoms through music and their voices. This socio-feminist framework explores how feminism and art create one of the most important social phenomena of all time. | |
