dc.description.abstractcharles c. smith’s poem cycle "between shadow and light" was performed and recorded live on October 31, 2021 in collaboration with dancer Meryem Alaoui; researched, produced, directed, and edited by Gita Hashemi. The performance took place on Orchard Park Boulevard, T’karonto, on the path of the buried (Tomlin) creek.
