Abstract

This paper provides an analysis of Hegel=s section of the Phenomenology of Spirit on AThe Law of the Heart and the Frenzy of Self-Conceit. The section provides an account of the dynamics of humanitarian benevolent activity to explain how charitable organizations become so conflictual.
