Abstract
"An Active Imagination" is a magical realism short about a young girl coming to terms with her nascent pre-cognitive abilities, while navigating an abusive and turbulent childhood. It interweaves the nave fantasies of children with the harsh realities of the adult world in a coming-of-age story, which transports the viewer back to the magic of childhood.
