Relates to work carried out by Tom Quinn. He discovered by DNA analysis of many North American Snow Goose populations that there were two major DNA types which were indistinguishable morphologically and occurred in all populations, suggesting that genetic isolation of at least 2 snow geese populations had occurred in the past.
