Wikidata, the youngest Wikimedia project, launched in 2012 and archival information is increasingly being added to the knowledge base platform. This presentation provides a brief, non-technical introduction to Wikidata and the basics of linked data, as well as informs archivists about the benefits to contributing to the project, particularly through the automation of information in Wikipedia and Wikicommons. The various contribution and importation methods will also be demonstrated.en_US
