dc.description.abstractTake Me Somewhere is a short experimental film that portrays impressions of the first track of the record “Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven” by the Canadian post-rock band Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Linked by voice-over conversations with five individuals from around the world who have personal connections to the music, the film reveals their stories through their memories as they associate the music with past times, places, and moods.
