Focused on the planning, implementation and results of focus groups with university students from different disciplines. The focus groups provided invaluable feedback about students' research habits; perceptions of their own information literacy competencies; and their insights as to how instruction could be enhanced. Innovative instructional video clips; supporting materials; various library initiatives with departments on campus; and other novel methods used to promote and to provide access to library services and resources to faculty and students both inside and outside the library were also examined.en
