dc.description.abstract | Fail to Appear is a feature length drama about Isolde, a new case manager in a low income neighborhood of Toronto, and her client Eric, a man with a history of mental illness who runs into trouble with the law. This film combines fictional and documentary elements to create an observational film touching on themes of social justice, and alienation. It is also a study of two characters through the prism of the systems and institutions they have to navigate as worker and client respectively. | |
