Early 21st century Jazz composition

In this thesis the author distills a sub-genre of 21st century Jazz music through a collection of five compositions. The author's compositions are based upon relevant techniques and materials found in Pop, Rock, and Jazz music between the years of 1970-2012. Focus is given to the author's compositions.
