A commentary upon Richard Rorty's misconstrual within The Mirror of Nature (1979) of the nature, intent and achievement of Kant's programme of philosophical enquiry, confirming that philosophers would do well to avoid the deconstructive method of 'conversation' that Rorty's work exemplifies.
