Dr. Julia Creet, Chair of the English Department at York University, introduces Barbara Godard as one of Canada's pre-eminent literary scholars, whose work has influenced the fields of Canadian and Quebec literatures, translation studies, feminist poetics, and narratology. She offers a brief overview of Dr. Godard's career, her publications, and her academic mentoring and supervision.
