It was pulled to LPB by Lindy Leigh and placed at the bottom of LPB in the Wawao Creek delta to be used as a live-in observation post for studies of pre-nesting and incubation behaviour. The brown plywood hide was built by Ken Abraham and Pierre Mineau in April 1976 before the arrival of the rest of the crew.
